About Us

Studio 23 Photography started off as Kristen Lloyd Photography in 2000. Kristen Lloyd has had a passion for photography since she was young. After working for several years in McAlester Oklahoma she decided to take her talent with a camera into a career. She graduated from OSU with a photographers degree in 1999. With the help of her family and friends, she opened Kristen Lloyd Photography downtown McAlester. After a few years her husband joined as a photographer and digital artist.

Fast forward to 2006. Now we are Studio 23 Photography at a new location downtown. We have the largest studio in this part of the state with 2 large camera rooms, a gallery, a frame studio, and lots of workspace. Kristen still works her magic behind the lens. Her husband Micky is still around to make sure your portraits look awesome.

We also have another great photographer on staff. Lea Giaudrone has been with us for several years and has grown into an outstanding photographer. You will see by the posts on our blog that her photography is top notch. Shawna Williams is our office manager and she is awesome! She has been with us for years and will be the friendly face you see when you walk into our studio. Deedra Bryant is another friendly face you will meet at the studio. She is our secretary and support to help out wherever she is needed.
